Merry Christmas

feeling Christmas-y

I am loving the Holidays this year. It’s such an opportunity for people to come together in light and love. In thanks and in giving… We are so so SO blessed!                   This year I feel like I have been more in touch with the true meaning of Christmas, and it has made this season rich and inspiring. Happy Holidays to all of you!           May you feel a deep and ever-present joy.

And since he won’t let me put on the elf hat again~ I will have to post the pic from last year!

Updates…

re: Pin Up Party … There are still spots left for the Pin Up Party/ Boudoir marathon happening 1/10, 1/11. The traditional gift for the 1st anniversary is paper so It’s a great gift idea for new brides! Sign up a friend and get a FREE 11×14 fine art print! (a $75 value)

re: Holidays … They are approaching VERY fast~ so get in your holiday print orders by Dec. 16th to make sure they arrive in time for gift giving.

re: Polaroids… I have been having a lot of fun lately taking polaroids. They are amazing, they are one of a kind, no way to reproduce (except digitally!) I am so grateful to have the time to explore and play again! I will be posting some soon :)

The Brendels

The Brendels are dear friends of mine… I have photographed them a few times and I have seen their children grow up before my very eyes! I realize that I am indeed getting older since I am starting to witness children becoming young adults. These photos of their sweet little family were taken on Thanksgiving right before we all chowed down. :)

And here’s shot of me with my sister Gloria… (BFFs)

Max and Ali | The Dana

The wedding of Max and Ali was my last wedding of the year! They are both wedding photographers themselves so it was an EXTRA honor to be chosen as their photographer. Max and Ali are great people and their families were so loving and nice. It was an awesome day, even despite the strong gusts of wind!!   It was fun to watch how Ali’s veil danced in the air. Lucky we had Melissa at I do Weddings to keep everything together and not have us all blow away. And the flowers, which were unbelievable, were from Organic Elements. They do great work and are good for the environment!

Max and Ali, I wish you many years of joy and bliss. May your love grow along with your camera collection! xo

Ali’s look was so classic

A cute moment with Ali and her sister…

Jennifer & Todd | the wedding

Jennifer and Todd light up when they are around each other. It is absolutely amazing to be around, I was blown away by the natural love, emotion and chemistry that they share. And what I really loved was how present in the moment they both were all day. I can imagine how hard it is to not get caught up in all of the wedding hoopla, but they stayed calm and centered, focused on what matters.

The beautiful ceremony took place at Cuvier Park with the reception at The Darlington House. With help from Alma at Love Is In The Details all of the details were AMAZING and added an element of style to the event. The florals, (which were off-the-hook!) were done by Sharon at Organic Elements. We had a little rain, but they say it’s good luck for it to rain on your wedding day. I’m so glad we stuck it out to do beach portraits because we got the most awesome post-storm skies!

Jen just radiated!
