Last year at this time we were just returning home from a trip to Costa Rica. I finally realized that I never shared any photos from this trip, silly me!
Now Costa holds a special place in the hearts of Ryan & I, we have traveled there twice together and absolutely love the country, people and amazing nature and wild animals. When we get married we are thinking about having our wedding there. Yay, destination wedding!
The 1st time we went, we traveled all around the country and saw lots, but this time we knew exactly where we wanted to go. We made a bee-line to the Carribean coast, ready to spend 2 weeks either on the beach, in a hammock or riding our bikes through the rainforest. My parents own land in a town called Puerto Viejo, which is on the border near Panama. So off we went on our 6 hour bus ride to paradise!

Check out how well this sloth is camouflaged!

We had an opportunity to house sit at this amazing cabina in the jungle. These were the dogs we took care of, King and Maliki…

Local women taught us how to make patacones, which are fried plantains. Delish!

You hear a lot of reggae over there! This was painted on the side of a house…

I hope that you enjoyed the pics as much as I did taking them. Can’t wait to go back!
