Met up with the lovely Elisa & Henry for their engagement session, and they brought a special guest! I have to admit at first I was a little intimidated by Tyson… he is 90 lbs of meaty pitbull goodness. But I soon discovered that’s he’s just a big softie. And Tyson thinks he’s human! haha I thought that was hilarious!

We will be seeing more of Tyson, for their big day he’s going to be included as the ringbearer. Can’t wait to party with these guys later this summer!

This photoshoot was so freakin rad!

Ashley & Seth were the winners of my sweetheart session giveaway and they did not disappoint! They are both super creative, fun and madly in love. Ashley made her own dress out of 3 of her grandmother’s slips, it was beautiful! They had great style and chemistry… it was such an awesome shoot. Hair and makeup was done by the always fabulous Makeup by Nikki and Balboa park provided the perfect backdrop.

Loved the outfit change and the feel to these last images. SO MANY favorites from this shoot! I hope you love them too…

Jessica & Logan get gold stars in the planning dept… they booked their engagement session the same weekend as their engagement party! Cue: Celebrate good times c’mon!

The weather at wind ‘n sea beach was really cool and foggy, and I love the look it gave to their photos. Something different, right? Also a big thanks to my girl Melanie for referring me this cute cute couple!

These two are both native San Diegans… so it was an obvious choice to go with the historic Balboa Park for their engagement session. We picked a beautiful day with beautiful light! Can’t wait for their wedding next month, I know it will be fabulous.

Had a ton of fun with Kristi, Paul and their adorable puppy J.B.! We cruised around looking for sweet photo spots while getting to know each other.  J.B. (aka Jail Bird) was cracking me up because he’s got one of those tongues that just won’t stay in his mouth! I loved his goofy charm… I just might have to steal him!

Spring has officially sprung~ so what does that mean? Engagements! I seem to always get a rush of engagement sessions at this time cause love is in the air! 

I love engagements because it’s such a great time to connect with my clients and get to know them better. I especially love to go to places that are special to them… Tana and Ted took me to their old stompin’ grounds in Ocean Beach. We cruised around Newport Ave. and the OB pier. I have to admit, I too have spent quite a bit of time in Ocean Beach so I felt right at home! Tana and Ted also have many memories from OB… I think these images really show off their personalities and how sweetly they interact together.
