Looky at what’s coming up!!

Okay, I have to start out by saying that I have been neglecting the blog a bit lately. The busy wedding season has taken its toll indeed, but I have many fun & exciting shoots to share with you! So forgive me please.
Now onto these two lovelies! From the very first time I met with Maria & Ted, I noticed there was a certain ease about them. They exude calm and it feels really nice to be around them! Their wedding day was no different. It was a beautiful blending of their two families and an intimate celebration with friends. Maria worked very hard on the little details and it showed! The decor was super cute. The food was fabulous, best I’ve had in a long time… and I go to a lot of weddings!
Maria & Ted, thanks for being the hosts with the most! You are such nice people and I wish you the very best. Here are some of my faves from the wedding...

St Gregory the Great is a beautiful church!

Love the 1929 Durant from Haynes Chauffeuring

Ted rockin the hat! Gangsta

Love this ring shot. so cute!

F-U-N!

It was a fantastic experience being a part of this wedding. The whole day had a very relaxed vibe… it honestly didn’t even feel like work! It felt like just hanging out with a bunch of friends and having a good time. Kelli & Nate, thank you for being so warm and accommodating. It was fun to learn more about you and the love that you share. Can we be friends? lol
Hope you enjoy this proper sneak peek of photos!

Kelli and Nate chose to see each other pre-ceremony. And for that, I am grateful.

golf carts= FUN

During dinner, we went out for more portraits since the light was just beautiful…

The party was super fun and the No Cheesy DJ played some really good non-cheesy tunes! Props!

Coming soon… the fabulousness that is Kelli + Nate!

Well, where do I begin? This wedding was very personal to me, since I’ve known the bride for at least 8 years and she’s one of my great friends. To see her in love has made me so happy and to be a part of the celebration was an absolute honor! Steph and Vince have been together for a few years and its easy to see why they are a couple. They are totally best friends.
Stephanie and Vince, I wish you many years of marital bliss and strength to lean on each other through the ups and downs. You are both very unique souls and I am blessed to have you in my life. Salute!

Stephanie’s dad was remembered throughout the whole day. She wrapped one of his ties around her bouquet as a touching detail.

Classic shot… so Steph!

Mr. Dangler!

“Hook, Line & Sinker”

Tattooed rings? hellz yeah!

This wedding was extra extra special to me… Steph is one of my besties & one of the first friends I made in San Diego. She is also responsible for introducing me to my love Ryan!
Her wedding was filled with laughter, great friends and family, sea breeze and lots of dancing. It was an awesome event. Much more to come from these two lovebirds. Check back soon!

Turntables cake? Genius!

First off, let me just say that this wedding was the bee’s knees. I had been looking forward to this wedding for awhile now, not only because they are the cutest couple ever but because Lou & Chris are very creative and had a total vision for their wedding. I love that.
Chris a.k.a. “DJ Ruckuss” is a super cool dj and Louie owns her own dog photography company Scratch and Sniff Photography! Their baby is a doxie named Scratch who was included in the wedding. He is the absolute cutest and most well-behaved doggie, not to mention dressed to impress! Lou & Chris put so much style, thought and love into this wedding… it was the culmination of LOTS of hard work. I wish you both the very best and I know that you will take good care of each other (and Scratch!)

ummm Lou made this dress hanger!!

Check out her cute shoes by Marc Jacobs

Have I mentioned that I love first looks?!

Loved her blue bolero and his tie with the records on it. I told you this couple had style!

Speaking of style, check out Scratch’s custom suit from etsy!

It’s awesome when friends become clients, and that is the case with Celso & Jess. When I found out about their wedding plans I was beyond excited to be a part of it all! Celso was stoked to finally be in front of my lens and I was happy to make it happen.
They married on a beautiful spring day at Marina Village surrounded by lots of dear friends and family. I’m so happy for them… that they stayed connected all those years and finally found the love that was there all along. Congrats to you guys, I bet you are having a blast honeymooning in New Zealand. xo
