She is also a yoga instructor so we took some pictures of her in a few different poses. Visit her website Clairestyle

Melinda and Chris

Recently I had the pleasure of working with a fellow photographer at The Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla. It is so amazingly beautiful there, very peaceful and serene. It was one of those blustery days, which gave life to Melinda’s veil. The pelicans flew overhead and it was all very ethereal.

First, a detail shot of the rings with a modern art style

I got to hang with the guys for once! I found them kicking back and playing cards.

Kristine and G | trash the dress. part 1

Let me just say first off that these have got to be my FAVORITE sessions to do. Being an artist, it is so freeing to be able to photograph a beautiful bride and have nothing that is holding us back. That’s what Trash the Dress is all about. As it says on the Trash the Dress website “It is about creation not destruction”. You are able to create images that would not be possible on the wedding day.

I have so many favorite images from this session I am going to blog in installments! In the next few days I will be posting more images. Kristine and G were heaven to photograph. They have got all the moves! It helps that they are both fellow photographers :) They were definitely in touch with my vision for the shoot…
