South of the border!

Yes, I am out of the office until March 9th…

In Costa Rica! It’s definitely time for a vacation before the crazy wedding season starts. I will be available by email only… but please allow up to 72 hours for a response. I will be traveling to an internet cafe every couple of days.

Lots of pictures to share when I return, but for now here are some I took last time we went Costa (2006)

Ahhhhh, the Caribbean…

This is Miss Francela, who has since passed. She was one of the last remaining elders in town. Photo was taken in her kitchen.

Peter and Lynn | the wedding

Yay, a wedding post finally! My first wedding of the year…

I was delighted to receive a call from my friend Peter a couple weeks ago, who shared that not only was he getting married but he wanted me to be a part of the big day! It was a small civil ceremony in honor of St. Valentin with a reception following at the University Club. Peter and Lynn are beautiful people, both inside and out. It was a pleasure to share in their joy and their love.

The lovely couple!

MARRIED!

Lynn’s style was classic 40’s chic

Johnny was the life of the party… And the view from the University Club is AMAZING!

I call this one “Bangkok Dangerous” … reminds me of a movie

Peter and the girls!

Blessings upon your union Peter and Lynn! xo

Susan

Finally something to break up all of the boudoir going on around here!

Susan came to me looking for some professional pictures for online dating. She was actually a referral from a gal I did last year, who has since gotten married! We met up at Presidio Park for our session and Susan looked all gorgeous and natural.

snow

Dolores, CO  2009      polaroid

Snow makes me feel excited and peaceful at the same time. It makes me a little giddy, like when I was a child with the wonders of the world stretched out before me.

I have memories of snow when I lived in Colorado, the crunch of it under my boots. watching it fall and dreaming. Now that I live in Southern California I think snow is even more special. It feels so clean, like a fresh new beginning.

I am going into this new year with the same feeling in my heart. I know that this year is going to be different and it’s up to me to make the changes to grow into the person that I want to be. I look forward to making new relationships, personally and professionally. I look forward to opportunities to use the gift of creativity to enhance people’s lives. I will see you down the road… until then, be well.
