Alana & Brian are two very heart-felt people and that was apparent to me as soon as I first met them. Since they were planning to fly in from Australia to get married here, we had only spoken via email but I just knew we would be a great match! Alana described them as a pretty down to earth couple that laugh easily together. They are adventurous, love to explore beautiful places and have been very much in love since the first week they met. They are also glass blowers & artists, very creative… I cannot think of more ideal clients!
Fast forward to the wedding day. Brian is giddy with anticipation and Alana is smiling ear to ear. The ceremony was emotional and intimate as they spoke their vows softly to each other. There was so much love between them and their friends and family. It was a fantastic day. They welcomed me in with open arms and insisted that I eat dinner with the guests, which turned out to be a really great time! I felt honored to be there and share in their joy. Thank you so much for making me feel comfortable and appreciated, I wish you all very the best!!

Alana wore her mother’s beautiful long veil.

This was his signature move…

Brian was so happy as he awaited his bride…

Stunning… WOW!

Loved this candid moment…

The reception was held at Azul in La Jolla.

From a trash the dress session with Alana… stay tuned for more to come! (and wedding photos)

Let me just say that this year I am in love with all my clients… I am so blessed to be matched with such awesome people that trust and believe in my artistic vision! It is so important for me to have such a connection, it makes my job exciting, fun and meaningful. I want to thank all my clients for being so open and letting me in to those intimate moments. For that I am eternally grateful.
And Michele & Mike are no exception! They are just so laid back and easy-goes-it. They love to have fun and they laugh together A LOT. I knew they were itchin to get to the party but they gave me all the time I needed to get some memorable shots. The wedding day took place at the Zlac Rowing Club which was super fun because I never have shot there before. It’s a great place for a wedding and I liked it’s retro vibe, it sort of reminded me of summer camp!
Congrats to you Michele & Mike! May you continue to make each other smile

Gotta love how they incorporated the Grateful Dead and Tie-Dye into the decor!

This picture cracks me up!!

I’m a big fan of laughing…

and jumping!

So unbelievably excited to share these photos of Leilani, my best friend. She is like a sister to me… we moved to San Diego together and remained roommates for 5 years! We have SO many amazing memories together.
And now she is having a baby girl! It is such a blessing to welcome little Indigo into the world. And very soon! She is due in a little over 2 weeks so it could happen any time!! Leilani is truly glowing with joy- it’s great to see her so happy. Leilani, I love you. You are such a beautiful soul and I am so unbelievably grateful that our paths have crossed in this life. I am looking forward to many more years of friendship and sharing in our new life adventures. May your new family be blessed. <3 G
