My family portraits

After posting this blog post of all my clients and their gorgeous families, I thought it would be nice to share with you my own family portraits taken last month. I find that even though I'm a photographer it's hard for me to keep up with documenting my own family... and I'm hardly ever in any of the photos! So it's important for me as well to hire a photographer to update our family heirlooms at least once a year. I'm also making a promise to myself to take more photos (and video) of my son Reed this year. He is growing up way too fast! Thank you to Chelsea Anne Photography for capturing these beautiful memories for us!

2013 YEAR IN REVIEW

As I reflect back on this past year I feel so grateful for the opportunity I have as an artist and business owner to connect with people and live my passion. This year my portrait business has really grown... thanks to the continued support and referrals from my awesome clients! I wanted to share with you a sample of the moments I captured in 2013. Eventually I will catch up to blogging most of these sessions (hellooooo new years resolution) but I wanted to make sure to give a big shout out to my past portrait clients and a huge THANK YOU for making 2013 a year to remember!!

Mad scientist theme kids birthday party

Just in time for Halloween... a mad scientist themed kids birthday party! It's starting to feel kinda spooky around here so I thought what better time than to share this creative bday party with you. This idea came together so well with all the awesome details that included a brain cake, dry ice beakers and eyeball piñata. The kids had a blast doing all sorts of science experiments.

It was super FUN!!

Holiday Mini Sessions

Can you believe it's already time to book your holiday portrait?! The seasons are changing once again, the days are getting shorter, kids are back in school and the Holidays will soon be upon us. Get a jump on your Christmas cards and take advantage of these specials.

This year we have a couple of options to choose from:

Mini session - perfect for holiday cards WHEN : Sun, October 6th   (It's possible I'll add another date if I get enough interest) WHERE : Old Poway park DETAILS : $175 for a 25 min session. Included is a disc of 5 retouched images. Up to 5 family members allowed. A $50 deposit is required to hold your slot.

AVAILABLE TIMES FOR MINIS : 2:00 2:30 3:00 3:30 4:00 4:30 5:00 5:30

Full session - for holiday cards and a variety of updated photos of your family WHEN : Weekend dates Sept-Nov WHERE : Custom choice of location and lighting DETAILS : $300 for a 1 hour session. Sessions are scheduled for times with the best light (for example the beach at sunset). Included is a disc of 10 retouched images. You also receive 20% off print orders.
