Happy to share this family with you... these are Reed's cousins! We met up in El Centro, CA to get some portraits of all the grandkids together while they're still small. The kids behaved great although Kane wasn't so into getting his picture taken. I loved the girls in their bright colored coordinated outfits. I look forward to doing more photos of these little ones as they grow!!
So this summer something terrible happened... I lost my engagement ring. Yes, I lost my engagement ring. For anyone who is married or is getting married you know how devastating this is... not only for it's financial value but more for it's sentimental value. I was totally distraught. And no, it wasn't insured. So I had to move on, accept my mistake and the hardest part, forgive myself for being careless. I figured we would just have to go with a simple wedding band for the wedding and then later down the road perhaps replace my beautiful engagement ring.
Fast forward to the other day... By some miraculous turn of events a ring is brought into my life. And it's beautiful. And we can afford it! Everything about this wedding we are planning is just turning out magical. Whatever we need is right there, from the perfect dress that was gifted to me to the awesome venue at a family member's home. I just have to always remember that I am completely and utterly taken care of. Never to forget that. And to open to more and more of life's miracles. This post is to remind me.
Sarah & Kevin know how to throw a party! Their wedding took place over 2 days starting with an intimate ceremony with family and close friends... and following up with a 200 ppl reception bash the next night. The love was definitely present and the events were centered around these two special people and the ones that love them. Lots of cute details designed by Sara Mackenzie. Summer is here in SoCal which means beach, bbqs and warm summer days and nights. Summertime is for making memories... Growing up I spent my summers on a lake in Wisconsin with all my cousins. It was an absolute blast and a time of my life I will never forget. I love it when families book summer portrait sessions... you really can't go wrong with the beach at sunset!
