Moments of 2012

2012. come and gone... many laughs, some tears, new clients, new friends, new babies, catching up with past clients, my son's first year, our wedding, 3 dearly departed. I learned a lot from 2012. I focused more on portraits this past year and found that I absolutely love the relationships that I get to cultivate and nurture. Getting to share in the moments... freezing them in time. Watching families grow. Here are some of the moments of 2012

Snap Happy Moms- photography workshops

This week has been super exciting because I have officially launched my photography classes for parents, Snap Happy Moms I'm so looking forward to a new year, new beginnings and the opportunity to connect with other moms to share my passion. This has been a dream of mine for over a year and it's awesome to finally make it a reality. We all love professional portraits of our children but cannot always afford to hire a photographer. There are so many special moments that happen with kids and wouldn't it be great to get to document them all?

Check out the new website, follow us on facebook and Get Snappin!

Yoga maternity beach session | La Jolla, CA

What do you get when you combine a beautiful yogi mama with the gorgeous la jolla beach backdrop? This maternity session! Jenny owns a yoga studio here in town and just welcomed her first baby girl "Ella Grace". Her and her surfer husband were absolutely fearless doing poses next to the crashing waves. They were up for anything which is so fun. I'm in love with these breathtaking images...

RCA wedding | Baileys Palomar Resort wedding

This wedding is extra special to me because it was the wedding of two of my great friends. Christina is one of my absolute besties... she and I have been through so much and I am so happy for her to have found her equal in Rich. They complement each other in so many ways. Christina is originally from Colorado and so when she laid eyes on Baileys up on Palomar Mountain she knew that was where she wanted to get married. It was an absolutely beautiful event bringing all their great friends and family from near and far. There were so many unique details, many handmade by Rich himself. The dancehall was packed and the moonshine was flowing! Everyone had a great time (myself included!) Christina wore her mother's wedding dress. Isn't it pretty?
