I love these guys! During my trip to the Bay Area earlier this month I had the chance to catch up with old friends and photograph the 2 new additions to their family. Light was perfect... it was sunny (gasp, for anyone that's familiar with summers in West Marin this is very unusual) and the backdrop was absolutely amazing. My home is a beautiful place. Always great to see the Fontans. There is a lot of love here...
Here are some pics from a corporate event I recently photographed. It was a wine tasting event put on by Bottlenotes at Humphreys by the Bay. Great wine and atmosphere... it was fun getting to be a part of this event!
So I haven't posted anything personal in awhile. It's a busy life as a mom, wife and professional photographer. Our son Reed has grown into toddlerhood and is looking more and more like a little boy each day. He is talking up a storm and makes us laugh with his cute sense of humor. This is a fun age and also a challenge as we approach the "terrible twos" (ahhhhh) But it is amazing to see him growing into his own self.
Last week we traveled to Marin county (specifically Bolinas, CA) to visit his grandparents and my home town. I hardly ever take photos on vacation, weird right, but when I'm on vacay I like to leave the camera & the phone at home and enjoy the moment. But I could not resist taking some portraits of Reed in his 4th of July outfit, a vintage suit that his grandmother found in Nebraska. We headed down to our friend's organic farm which provided the perfect backdrop for this classic Americana style shoot.

Meet baby Ella!
Last month we traveled across state lines for Jayme and Chris's big day. Their wedding was held at a beautiful lake resort outside of Yuma, AZ. These two are just awesome people and their wedding was a true reflection of them and their fun loving attitudes. Jayme was blingtastic with a little "gatsby" look going on... and the boys, well who else would have thought of pairing jackets and ties with board shorts?! Another highlight was Jayme arriving by speedboat accompanied by her two dads. We had an absolute blast shooting this wedding. Thanks for having us and thanks to my 2nd shooter Jenna for making the trip out to the desert with me!
