Kathy and Brian | Hilton Mission Bay wedding

What a lovely day on the bay! Kathy and Brian are both animal lovers and actually met for the 1st time at the fiesta island dog park! So it was just perfect that they held their wedding at the Hilton Mission Bay with fiesta island as the backdrop. Kathy and Brian are so sweet and genuine and they were both a joy to work with. These two are meant to be together... and at the same time realistic about what it takes to build a strong relationship and marriage. I feel excited for them as they start their journey as a married couple. Congrats and best wishes!!

I can't believe its here already... time to announce Holiday mini sessions! These discounted sessions are always popular with families who want a few updated photos for their holiday cards.

This year there will be 2 November dates available with your choice of setting, "NATURE" or "URBAN"... so fun!! There are only a few slots available so be sure to book asap by emailing me with your first & second choices.

La Jolla beach headshots

Christina has graced my blog before... you might remember her rustic mountain wedding from a couple years ago. This time we went down to the beach in La Jolla to grab some pretty headshots. Christina is a massage therapist so she wanted photos that were casual, warm & inviting and yet still professional. The beach backdrop was perfect and really played up her blue eyes. A natural beauty!

San Diego vacation family portraits

It's not a big secret that San Diego is a nice place to visit. Millions of people come to San Diego each year to vacation with family and spend time relaxing at our beautiful beaches. I love it when a family will hire me to do a portrait session while everyone is in town. And now that my own parents are now grandparents I understand how extra special it is to capture these memories while the kids are young. I met up with this extended family who were staying at The Beach Cottages in Pacific Beach. We headed down to Crystal Pier to grab some nice portraits of them together.
